Monday marks the launch of The Richmonder, a news outlet devoted to spotlighting the best of the city while keeping a watchful eye on those in power.

Our launch has been remarkably fast - we incorporated in May, and now you're seeing the first articles in September. By corporate standards, we're flying.

That's intentional. The Richmonder isn't a finished product. We're very much a work in progress. We're inviting you to join us on that journey.

We'll continue to develop the site, and add new features along the way.

I'm particularly excited about the Voter Guide, which will have information about where the candidates stand in every race, city-wide.
